Summary
Researchers demonstrate that authenticated MCP tools can conceal malicious code that leaks data, bypassing Meta's MCPGuard-Dynamic defense. They propose germline execution, which runs each tool invocation in isolated copies with limited data, proving sink noninterference and detecting flow violations. In 153 attack runs, no unauthorized disclosure occurred, with invocation times of 10-49 ms, 2-28x faster than restarting tools.
